The Payroll Setting module is used to configure salary rules, components, and system behaviors that control how employee payroll is calculated and processed within the system.
This feature allows the HR or Admin department to define basic configurations required before generating payroll. Proper payroll settings ensure accurate salary calculation, compliance, and automation.
From here, you can set the payroll settings for all staff. Just follow these steps:
Over time, calculation: How the overtime calculation works within the system. Here are two ways of calculation. Follows as,
Attendance: If set to Attendance, overtime will be calculated automatically from the hours the individual employee worked beyond their scheduled hours. Here, the time counts from the punch-in and punch-out history.
Manual: If set to Manual, HR must enter overtime manually.
Per-day salary calculation:
Per-day salary refers to the amount an employee earns for one working day. It is used to calculate salary deductions for absences and additions for overtime or extra workdays. It ensures accurate payroll calculation when employees are absent, late, or work partial days.
Two options for per-day salary calculations are:
Working Day: Working Days are the number of days an employee is scheduled to work in a month. Choose whether the per-day salary is calculated by actual working days.
Monthly Day: Choose the monthly days that represent the total number of calendar days in a specific month.
Daily Working Hours: Set up default working hours per day, used to calculate overtime and per-day salary.
